Since 2005 Christopher Henry, the founder of Autism Design Consultants, has been researching and writing about architecture for autism. His experience is as varied as it is extensive. It ranges from the academic setting of the Danish Building Research Institute to working direct care at Bittersweet Farms, a residential and vocational facility for adults with autism. He is currently studying for his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in the hopes of answering some of the questions surrounding autism design.
